This event is surely not to be missed. Bringing you the best in local and international cullinary finesse, the event is running at the International Cape Town Convention Centre in the Cape Town foreshore. The show runs from the 26th to the 29th of May 2005. Visit the Gourmet SA website for more information! Stalls not to be missed includes the KWV 'restaurant' where you can find very affordable (but good quality) w ine per glass and have a great meal. Also be sure to see one of Gennaro Contaldo's shows at the 'Chefs in action theatre'. We went to see it on the opening day and it is simply 'fantastico'!! Gourmet SA - go there now! |

R300 per person includes accommodation in the Caravan park for Friday and Saturday evening. Also included is a spit braai with an unplugged music session as well as the main event the evening with loads of bands playing. Date : 6 - 8 May 2005 PS - You can also arrive the Saturday if you want, as the Friday evening is just for setting up camp and meeting the people. Sure to be fun!! |

| The fuel price went up another 20c yesterday! What a rip-off! Travellers to Cape Town can rest assured though, the price of petrol is still about have of what you pay in the UK, so travelling by rental car is still quite affordable. Now it's time to see whether rental car agencies in Cape Town will adjust their pricing accordingly... |
